Wednesday nights are busy at the ACT House (2018 Bretton Place Toledo 43606)! We begin with our Free Family Dinner at 5:30 PM. If class or your job is off later, no worries! We'll save some for you!
We prepare a special and sometimes unique meal each Wednesday. We serve everything from the typical (pizza, tacos) to the off-beat (breakfast for dinner, cereal). We will also grill out when possible including everything from pork chops to hot dogs and burgers!
Bible Study begins at 7:00 PM. Are you hungry to grow in your faith? We're the place to be on Wednesday nights! We dive in deep to Scripture to discover what God has to say to us.
Come join us!
Tuesday nights we welcome you to join our Small Group study "Jesus in the Real World."
We meet at 7 PM in the Active Christians Today UT Campus House (2018 Bretton Place Toledo 43606). Each Tuesday the group takes a case study and looks at it from a Christian perspective. How does faith play into real world situations? That's the question we attempt to answer each week.
At the core, our small groups are an opportunity for our students to get connected, study God’s Word, and encourage each other in their walk with Christ.
The goal of our small groups is to help students become fully devoted followers of Christ and to allow God's Word to inspire them to love, learn, and lead the present and future generations.
If you are interested in an ACT UT Small Group, just show up! We would love to meet you and would love to hear your contribution to our weekly discussions.
Whether you're looking to meet others in your own life stage or find someone to be an accountability partner, this is the place to be!
Wednesday following our Free Family Dinner at 5:30 we hold our weekly large group Bible Study at 7 PM.
Our weekly talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Each focuses on the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity through God's Word.
The most important part of the evening is our discussion. This is your chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic. There's never an obligation to say anything. And there's nothing you can't say! It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
During the year we do topical studies along with in-depth study of Scripture. In every case, we dive into God's Word to discover truths applicable to our world. Our studies have three things in common: food, a talk and good conversation. Join us at 5:30 for the food and the talk begins at 7 PM. We will conclude by 8 PM each Wednesday evening!
What is Active Chritians Today all about? Ask our students! Listen as they talk about what ACT means to them and then come to one of our upcoming events to find out more!
Active Christians Today (ACT) is a campus ministry on the campuses of the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. Since the early 1970's when we were founded until today, we have been focused on bringing the message of Jesus to UT and BG.
We are a non-denominational Christian community that encourages and challenges students to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ. We have weekly worship services, Bible studies, small groups meetings, retreats, cookouts and parties, ministry teams, mission trips, as well as other events throughout the year.
We would love for you to join our community of faith!
